    Quiet Easter Sunday at home with just the wife and kids. Found some downtime and rolled these in the Jolida FX-10 in place of the stock Russian Tung Sol tubes. Driving Paradigm Studio 40, V.2.

    Listened to Cowboys and Angels (George Michael), Luna (Smashing Pumpkins), Shake it Out (Manchester Orchestra), Cliffs of Dover (Eric Johnson).

    I honestly wasn’t expecting much of a difference, but WOW! Immediate noticeable improvement. Bass is much richer, detail across the range is more defined. Very happy with these! Thanks George!

    I think I might be in trouble now... :)

    It’s a little overpowering. It’s nice in the background. I think they do it since the tubes in it don’t glow that noticeably. I’ve heard of people modding it by painting a couple coats of red nail polish on the blue LEDs. I hate the thought of messing with it though. It looks better with the glass cover on it.
