FS: Totem Kin mini-monitors and Kin mini-sub w/boxes

Ok guys, time to part with more goodies. This time its the phenomenal Totem Acoustic Kin 3-piece system in satin white. I can't say enough good things about them. This is truly a mighty-might system. Though small in stature, you still get Totem's incredible imagining. The Kin Sub puts out some truly serious, quality bass making true magic of the satellite/sub concept. As one can see by the DVD case in the photos, the Kin setup is perfect for a small space. The mini-monitors sound terrific on a bookshelf or fireplace mantle, and the sub all but disappears visually with its diminutive footprint. The setup ships in two boxes that I will have the measurements and weight for shipping calculation posted tonight. New, the three pieces go for $1200, I'm selling for $600 plus shipping/insurance.nlhcv35p37l2.jpg

Ken, while an M series would look lovely in the driveway, I can afford neither the payment nor the upkeep so I'll stick to my used Acura.

Thanks Clipdat. So it looks like i could get by with an older receiver, but would benefit more from a decent 2ch map. Hmmm.

They'd be going into my girl's living room (who likes to live incredibly spartan), so trying to minimize the amt and size of equipment in there.

marantz nr series would probably work nicely. Half height of a normal receiver, the only other thing you'd need is a source...

They start sounding really good with SS and class D amps (mini PS Audio Sprout class D at 33wpc was a fine match) at 40wpc, 20wpc with tubes. The boxes measure 14x13x13 12lbs, and 19x13x10 12lbs. Shipping from 97007.

Good call, I was thinking it would have to be something with a subwoofer pre-out RCA, but why not just use the speaker level inputs. Nice.

I'd be more inclined to suggest the Dayens Ampino. This is a perfect application for it given the quality and size of the speakers (good thing!), especially if it's a computer or nearfield setup.

If it was a person that privileges sq then I am sure u are correct. If it is a person/girlfriend for whom convenience is more important, and wants this to be a dual purpose system, I would still suggest the marantz.

If of course size and simplicity and not key considerations, then the floodgates open up.

Great price on a great setup.

I have the exact ones and run them on a PS Audio Sprout with great results. Perfect for my office.
