Infinity crescendo 3007 sale

About 6 months ago I bought myself some infinity crescendo speakers, and I have absolutely loved them. Unfortunately, when the LSis came in (I don’t know if I ever could call that really unfortunate), they became disused and sat in the corner for about a month in a half. If that wasn’t bad enough, they are now speaker stands. Anyway, I’ve decided these speakers deserve a new owner, who will really use them.
The cabinets are in pretty good condition, with only minor scratches and blemishes, however where the grills fit there is almost discoloration in the finish as seen below:
I don’t know what caused this, maybe the original owner never took the covers off for the entire 20 years that he had them?
All the drivers have new foam on them, and work perfectly. Some of the driver baskets have whit paint on them (?) that I have no idea the origin of.
The paint is only on the gaskets (and, in one of the tweeters cases, the faceplate). All drivers are in almost perfect condition, with one of the 8 inch woofers having a minor scratch near the dust cap, a few small chips in the dust caps at places (as seen in the pics), and one of the tweeters having a slight dent (one of the worst things I have ever done. The tweeter still works and sounds fine, I just never got around to replacing it. A working replacement will cost you $30-40, definitely worth the sound of these speakers, I just never did it before I got the LSis.).
The other tweeter is actually not original, and was pulled from either a kappa or reference speaker, however it is identical other than the words on the front and it is in perfect condition.

The terminal plates on the back need to be cleaned up, I can do that and I will post pictures of it once it’s clean. While I am in there’s I will take pictures of the crossover.
The speakers sound and play very nicely.
Asking $250.
I am willing to take pictures of anything you need, just ask.

I just realized, I forgot to lower the price of the stuff for being on the polk forums. I was gonna sell them for $250 on Craigslist, but I was gonna do $200 on here.
    The price is now $200.

They are awesome speakers, I am truly hurt to be getting rid of them, but I know for a fact that I have another pair of speakers on its way, they are just at a friends house.
    $175 for today only.

Oh, yeah forgot to mention that. This is not a kappa (amp killer). This is a very easy to drive speaker. And they sound really nice.

@CH46E would you be willing to possibly trade a pair of speakers? And if so, what do you have? I can’t guarantee that I will want to trade, but depending on what you have, I might if you would be willing to.

I had the little brothers, the 3006 and these are the real deal folks! They were exclusively produced for CC before bankruptcy by Infinity and are stoutly built, have that great EMIT tweeter and really punch above their weight. IIRC retail was almost $1K on them. At $175 and refoamed already - these are a great deal IMO. GLWTS! (FWIW, I did take the time to dynamat the baskets when I did mine, which I thought was a great benefit)

Definitely. I loved these, they sound absolutely phenomenal. This specific pair was $1300 MSRP. And in this condition, but with dry rotted surrounds, they sell in the $300 range btw.

I cant let go of my rta12B, love them to much. Even though i dont use the SRS2 much, i cant bring myself to let them go yet either. My KEF's are not worth nearly as much as the crescendo. My Polk RM7500 are staying. Im using one of the CRS SRS as a center.

That only leaves my mint condition RTA11t that i might trade. They are not the TL. All oem. And work perfectly. qqz9qubo2ftq.jpg

Let me know what you think.

Just looked at them, and I am gonna say no. Sorry. Besides, if your friend needs a pair of speakers, I already have a few, so let him keep them.

As much as I want those RTAs, I was wanting to get some LSi 7s once these sell, so I’m not gonna trade you infinities for the RTAs either. Sorry.
If anyone else would like to trade, Tell me what you have, and I will think about it.

I hear ya. Id also like to get a really nice set of bookshelfs. Always liked the Paradigm Studio 20 v3 and v4. Also the Focal Profile 908 and the B&W 805.

If you change your mind on the RTA11t let me know.

How about my mint B&K Ref 20 i just picked up and the rta11t? :)

Sorry @CH46E, but I am once again gonna say no. I don’t have room for the RTAs, and as much as I want that B&K, I don’t need it, and there are higher priorities in my audio setup right now (replacing my pro amp, LSi7s and LSiC, etc.).
If you have a home amplifier that you would be willing to trade I would possibly take your offer,, but I can’t garantee it’ll happen.
If anyone does want to trade equipment, just let me know. Speakers are back to $200 today by the way.

Sorry to Polkies of lands far away with the lack of shipping, but these things weigh in around 50 pounds a piece and they are huge. So if you want them shipped then you’ll have to drive down here, pack them up, ship them, and then drive back up to receive them.
