    Loved him in that show. The banter between him, Hot Lips and Hawkeye was some of the best on TV.

    When I was sick and goin through all of that I used to watch reruns of M*A*S*H. That show actually got me through alot. And yes on DVD, I own the box set. lol

    One of the best written and acted TV series of them all, I'd opine. It got a little cartoonish near the end, but the whole ensemble worked hard, I think, to maintain a high standard.

    As they used to say, the show ran for far longer than the (shooting) war* upon which it was based! :)
