Ah yes. One of the first indicators that Spring is nigh! Looking out my office window, prepping for work tomorrow (yuck), but hope is near. Still daylight! Think Spring! Yay!

I realize watching my weekly TV shows and showing up an hour late to everything is going to be problematic, but I hate giving up an hour of sleep. I've never been a morning person.

I've hated this Time Warp crap my whole life. I had a newspaper route before school for years back in my 5,6,7th grades. I then had to go to work at about 6AM every Morn, for 40 years, the Winter mornings were brutal the earlier I had to start before the sun came up.

But since some parents say it's best for children at the bus stops ( for those who still stand at one) to have more light, I say it's a good burden then , considering how many crazies are out there.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

I don't mind it. It's the dramatic change that gets my attention, instead of having a minute per day increase of daylight which you never notice. It helps me get my mind right, winter is over!

Maybe give up, like, I dunno- five minutes' of sleep a week until you're in sync with the rest of the country (except, of course, those parts of the country that don't change).

Why not one year just fall back or spring forward 30 minutes and then we can be done with it. AND. if we do it in metric, the rest of the world will participate as well.

Bangladeshis, man, those guys are hard core progressives. They gave the finger to Father Time back in 2010, and churned out an extra 1,467 cubic tons of Madras the first month.

I fabricated those numbers, but I'm pretty sure it's accurate. I just have a feel for this sort of thing. You know. BS.

I think we should stop moving the clock forward and start turning our clocks back twice a year so I get two more hours to sleep per year. I don't care if it's daylight at 3am, it'll keep the vampires away when I'm sleeping.

I think I need to make some changes in my life. I was ten minutes into the latest episode of The Walking Dead when the signal cut out. I didn't hear a storm, so I looked out and it was snowing, giant wet flakes, the kind that sticks to everything and knew it was stuck to the satellite dish. I had to climb a ladder, get on the roof (low pitch) with a hand broom and clean off the dish. As I was "trying" to get back onto the ladder from the roof, I realized that I was risking my life for The Walking Dead. I really had a hard time getting back on the ladder. Every time I'd pick my foot up to put it on the ladder, my other foot would start to slide. I didn't think that idea through beforehand.

A true cautionary tale -- made all the better by the line:
"I realized that I was risking my life for The Walking Dead."

    The irony is palpable.
