Making hay while the sun shines?
    Pretty much. :)

Drying conditions are a big deal up here in the summer... hay needs to dry somewhat, but not too much before baling. They give drying conditions daily on the weather reports in the summertime here :)

Hay is a thing up here -- lots of dairy, still, in New England, although the low prices for milk and high costs of land and -- everything else -- are having an impact on the small dairy farmers (e.g., our down-the-hill neighbors). Many have moved to higher-value dairy products (that'd be cheese, mostly). Our farmer-neighbors, in fact, make some very fine cheese and also smoked cheese & meats.

I am happy to put in a plug for 'em! No affiliation, except as a neighbor, customer, and hay source ;)

Rural America is still BEAUTIFUL, isn't it? ;)
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

about 97%, I suspect, of even the continental US is still pretty much -- rural...
    or even nothing.

To say nothing of Alaska! :)

so -- saw this posted Someplace Else, but it seemed worth sharing here. Maybe barely worth sharing, but it just costs me a few keystrokes ;)

    http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/wood-speaker-resonator-1.4541537

It seems a little obvious, given the proliferation of cheap "full-range" transducers (to say nothing of the bass shakers) -- hardly newsworthy, but I do think things are a little sleepy sometimes for our beloved Neighbors to the North. ;)

Yeah. I would say not as scary as Alex Zanardi's crash, though. :o

That, I would consider tragic. Though really, he's lucky he only lost his legs... could have easily been much worse.

I saw this oil online and decided to inquire before buying. Glad I did because the colors in first photo, the one online that I liked, look nothing like the colors in the second taken in natural light today. This is unfortunate as the one in the second photo will not work where I wanted to hang it. Moral of the story, never buy art from an online photo.

    Questions about the above:
    1. Colorado or Willow Leaf spinner blades, #5 lure size?
    2. Split finger fastball or slider?
    3. Carburetor w/manual choke or fuel injected?

Just wondering. I can't wait until spring!
