Scratched Gear?

Here's a cool idea I ran across from someone who used automotive vinyl wrap to cover scratches in his gear. Imagine the possibilities.

I dunno. Just thought it was a cool idea. I've known some polkies adding wood panels to dress up their gear. Granted, it doesn't affect the performance, but it adds character.
