Placement of subwoofer

in Basic Hookup/Wiring Questions
Have placed TV and magmini together in one corner and sub in opposite corner ten feet away. beautiful sound and bass from direction of TV but nothing from sub. Any suggestions?

    The bass sounds from the subwoofer aren't directional. If you are hearing bass, and the subwoofer itself is vibrating, it's working.

    If you're pleased with the sound being produced, you should consider yourself lucky, because it sounds like you got the sub placement correct on the first try!

    The bass should fill in the audio spectrum naturally, and shouldn't sound localized or directional, as if it's physically coming from the visual location where the subwoofer is sitting.

    Yeah, most of your sound reproduction will be originating from the soundbar. All the subwoofer does is fill in the low frequencies. You won't be hearing any voices or anything coming from it.
