I saw that on the Vincent and you can get them new for 250.00 or 300.00 I believe.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

12s for 2 bones!!! So much want! Those would definitely fill the garage.

There are there 12's for 125.00 too.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Polk-Audio-M12-Monitor-2-Series-Vintage-Tower-Speakers/192449194997?hash=item2cceddabf5:g:PBMAAOSwhfdaehvV

I want them for the passives some 3.1's need but they are too far away....

Surely a polkie in the area could pick them up for you and ship the passives. If it meant getting a pair of 3.1 working I'd let the guy keep the rest of the drivers and sell them as payment. Just saying.

    Basically.

Ideally the 3.1's need 4 of the MW6503's also because a kid tipped one of them over and all of the magnets shifted in that speaker.

I would gladly pay for the purchase and shipping to me if I could get the passives and 4 drivers. They could keep the tweeters and 4 drivers as payment for helping me.

They aren't even my speakers, I'd be buying the speakers for those parts, paying for shipping and fixing the 3.1's as karma for a very good friend who is out of work due to a surgery. He's a fellow polkie, but he doesn't own or use a computer. He just spins vinyl.

If someone could help me help him out I would be grateful. :)

LOL mine too! Paradoxically, best thing about LA, I live close to work, no traffic for me! In DC, I had 1.5hrs each way - funny how life has worked that way.

    She's a looker for sure....

    http://hifiheaven.net/shop/Pre-Owned/VAC-Avatar-Switchable-Ultralinear-Triode-Vacuum-Tube-Integrated-Amp-Used

They have a good list of pre-owned and demo gear, some nice Rogue pieces also. Cruise their pages.

The Vac I linked to, is a nice one box solution with a pretty darn good phono stage, good power, and of course, that Vac sound....for 2k gents, this is a steal of a deal right here.

    Bob Wagner....Kerry, take a look.

"Many folks do not know this, but VAC also made all those great Marantz reissue tube units. That's right! All those reissue Marantz 8B amplifiers were actually made right here in the good ol' U. S. of A. by VAC. "
