    Will do.
I had the Kappa center for $50 and at the last second someone offered $200
I guess you don't always win.

    Sad what Infinity has become.
I have a couple of friends with Infinity Compositions Overture 3 set ups. They are sweet too.

So I got them home cleaned and hooked up. Not Bad.
With the 10" side woofer them are very close to no sub needed. They are very detailed and like power. Being the last good speakers Infinity made before they went down hill and they were made for the Euro market with some quality parts. I will keep them for 2 channel for sure.
I have also found and ordered NOS tweeter for them.

Now for the Funny as Hell moment.

He also had a pair of Kappa 400's that have pushed in tweeters from his kids.
He also thought the side woofer was blown because of a rattle in 1.
He wanted them gone asap. I gave him $60. if nothing else for parts.

Got it home and not a blown woofer rattling!!!

Looks like the kids have used the rear port for toys!!
    :D
I will put new tweeters in them and find someone to enjoy them too.

Very nice score! My Infinity Kappa 9 pair ore one of my three favorites in rotation right now. I couldn’t agree more on the decline of Infinity - they really did “sell out”.

    Enjoy the new sound!

    Good find!
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

I have been late to the party on Kappa 9's twice. People that know what they are call quick around here. Keep those babies.

You put them to close together.
They want to be at least 8 feet apart and 2 feet around empty space.
    Also try to Biamp them.
If you like deeper bass , try to set them with woofers to the outside.
    Amazing speakers.
    I own a pair since 2010.

Those are great looking, and great score. Pair on eBay for $799.

Might belong on the Starship Enterprise. I really like the pic showing the toys, too. I would keep the toys as a memory.

I have two Infinity servo subs from the late 80's and would not part with them. One is SSW-210 that I purchased the same time as my first pair of SDA 2B speakers. The other is the big brother SSW-212. Each has two woofers 10" and 12".
