    Have you (the OP, that is) ever heard Sansui "Kabuki" loudspeakers.
    Serious, serious junk (IMO, of course).

    Sansui actually did make a couple of JBL-esque loudspeakers that were very interesting -- the SP-2500 is not one of them.
