So why was president himself motivated so quickly to minimize my response?

This is how it usually goes. Someone asks about cables, something other than zip cord and receives suggestions on cables to try. Then a naysayer comes in not to answer the original question, but to proclaim anything other than zip cord is snake oil. That's when it starts.

    The world around. :(
Probably a good thing I can only really read English -- I'm sure there are nigh-on identical threads in Chinese, Russian, Hebrew & Arabic.
  • So you would say your response was motivated by my comment which isn’t inline what you believe?

    But thanks for playing along.

Not attacking you Jeremy, just stating that your opinion is not fact, I don’t know why you want to pick at getting Jesse to respond to this drivel. Looks to me like you are trying to turn a good thread south by trolling Jesse.

    It won’t work.

Thats fine and all man but I have found audioquest to build wires right from the bottom of the line to be quality and pass along the signal better then anything else on the market. Cardas and Kimber also do a fantastic job and thats it. Other companies might do a good job here and there but none of them are as consistent as these top 3.

Well, I know that this isn't true, but it isn't worth arguing over, since it is all opinion. :)

You see I haven’t debated cables at all, only what provokes one to argue. I am not seeing where my thinking is delusional at all. All I see is support for my original claim.

    Well, this has changed quickly.

Funny, I just put some MIT's I have had stored back in and am loving them so far.

Not that I understand it but I put them in another system and didn't like the results, seemed to have less bass.

Not the case this time. Glad I didn't sell them.

Please I am not trolling at all. I don’t think I have been anything but respectful. Jesse is a big boy and it was his choice to respond to my post.

The original question was what makes a cable thread go south, was it not?

I answered that question. Jesse disagreed and commented that it’s always the naysayers. I think I was able to demonstrate that that isn’t always the case, we haven’t heard from the naysayers, and that my original post is more true than false.

And for the record I am in the camp who has heard differences in cable and believe that cables can and will tune ones system to their liking.

Funny, I was wondering why there wasn't a "Troll" button on this forum. To simply be antagonistic just to try and prove a point is pretty much trolling. Maybe I'm wrong, but, I'd be willing to bet I'm not the only one here feeling this way.

The rear speaker photo's here were actually connected to my B1'S ,i did this for the last 2 weeks before their new owner picked them up..i miss them : ( .
Everything including the foil shields were used in the connections.
I was seriously impressed with the amount of air in the music from the kordz silver for the top end and i found it didn't matter where i went in my home...there were absolutely no standing waves through out my home. It was Solid.
The actual CRS here are awaiting Treys Abbot build and Daves Dreadnaught ,these have stock plates and are only connected via voltage-premium s-video :)

I can make more sets for only $12000 each run ,you need two runs for a full set,First in best dressed .....limited edition

Perhaps they have not yet been motivated to respond, because the subject is regarding the "naysayers" themselves and not cables, and their benefits and/or detriment to an audio system.

But, If I were to say that my Cerious Technology Carbon Fiber XLR digital cable made a huge improvement over my $14.99 XLR digital cable because of the improved soundstage width, depth, and height. Plus, the bass was deeper and more solid. The high end has more sparkle without being "digitally harsh". And the image weight of all frequencies of the Cerious Technologies cable was better than my $14.99 XLR cable. Also, the separation of the instruments in the soundstage was better from the Cerious Technologies XLR digital cable.

Then, you may see some "naysyaers" coming out against we "believers".

"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
