This has been driving me crazy for years. Is this the same for everyone?

    Have you tried deleting and re-adding the bookmark?
    Might have to clear cache in between.

    Doesn't show up for me in FF either, just get the generic globe icon instead.

    So it would appear that they never copied, or created a favicon.ico file for the forum's subdomain. Who would handle fixing that? Ken? I'm dying to scratch this OCD itch for my 2018 resolution. LOL.

    With that info re: the favicon for the subdomain I just successfully tested something you can try as a workaround.
    1. Browse to polkaudio.com
    2. Add a new bookmark.
    3. Check to see if it has the favicon.
    4. If so, edit that bookmark's name and url to something like Polk Audio Forum, and http://forum.polkaudio.com

    Does seem to break it again if I try to create a new book mark and edit it to use for the FS subforum, for example, at
    == http://forum.polkaudio.com/categories/for-sale-fs-classifieds
    works for the next level up, though
    == http://forum.polkaudio.com/discussions

    Icon goes back to the viking64papericon

    Here's an old article to read up on. I'll skim it in a bit.

    One of my two laptops (the one I use for "school" -- the course I teach) has, bizarrely, the AT&T logo showing up for the "Club Polk" forum. This has been the case for some time (months).

    My other laptop (my "work" 'pute -- another Lenovo, but a tad newer & sexier) -- does not.

    Both machines running Win10.
    Browser(s) is/are Chrome.

    Peculiar as all getout.

    Weird, the FS subforum now shows the favicon for me now after that little shuffle process I detailed above. It didn't work earlier; went to the folded page icon as soon as I saved the FS subforum, which exists under "Categories"

    I've been creating test bookmarks. The favicon doesn't work at first, but after creating the bookmark, making any edits necessary, then visiting the page via bookmark, the favicon magically updates in the background at some point. Magic - that is the official, technical explanation for the issue.

    Try that. I got hearts all over the friggin' place now.
    It's like a Care Bear Convention over here and I'm fighting the compulsion to adopt six cats and a pot bellied pig. I didn't think I particularly liked cats very much.

    I think that pot bellied pigs are even worse (than cats), based on what I have heard & read. Just sayin'.

    Pigs can fly? Then again, not much surprises me anymore.
    2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

    Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

    I am loving this thread.

    I know the Messier objects well, too.
    The pot bellied pigs were a - thing - in those long-ago days when I was livin' in the Silicon Valley. As I recall, they were outlawed as pets in San Jose (we lived in Milpitas)... there was much brouhaha about that (again, as I recall).
