Bullet-proof albums

Albums (NOT 'greatest hits) that every song is good. Yes, it's obviously subjective, but....
Here are some to get the idea:

I saw Hole open up for Tool, I saw Bread open up for Meatloaf, and I saw The Doors open up for Bad Company.

I saw Motley Crue open for Ozzy, I saw Metallica open up for Ozzy, Saxon open for Iron Maiden..

Crue, and Metallica destroyed Ozzy, they were very hungry and ate everything in their path during the early years of their careers..

I saw Metallica open for Ozzy in 1986. I went because of Metallica, even though I had already seen them about 25 times by that point.

I went to see Iron Maiden in Montreal TWICE, but I didn't have tickets and they were sold-out both times. I really should have seen them back in the 80's because I had (and still have) about 30 pieces of their vinyl from between 1980 and 1984.

And as far as the bands listed in my above post, I have not seen any of them. Those statements were all intended to be metaphorical. :p

Just out of -- academic -- curiosity :)

How often do you listen to Within You, Without You?

Now, it's not a bad track, and it's at least a bit historically significant as a touchpoint in the introduction of Indian music (or at least the instruments and style of classical Indian music) to young Western ears... but it's a little out there relative to the rest of the album.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Yeah, Dire Straits (eponymous) was a breath of fresh air (and a proudly raised middle finger to the status quo) when it came out.

To me, though, some of it is a little weak(er) (e.g., Six Blade Knife -- a little too sleepy in tempo) -- and I got tired of Sultans of Swing from hearing it far too often on the radio 'way back when... but stuff like Down to the Waterline, Water of Love, and Wild West End, to me, is about as good as it gets.

Great cover art, too. Again, so antithetical to its time (the peak of the New Wave/punk backlash to the rock and roll dinosaurs and prog rock --- and disco, too).
