Bang & Olufsen?

Thoughts? Used to be intrigued. More I get into this Audiophile thing more I think it’s more flash than substance. Looks cool in a swanky condo but not true Audio.

Or am I wrong?

What are you talking about? CD players? Speakers? No clue what you are talking about.

Lifestyle product but nothing wrong with that. Have not heard a good demo of the Beo90 but I’m sure it’s a solid speaker

    current or vintage?

They made some fine turntables & decent (if complex and difficult to repair) electronics. Many fine loudspeakers over the years as well -- their current loudspeaker offerings still get good press, but are a too complex for my tastes.

By and large, their aesthetics have been unassailable.

Their phono cartridges were always pretty darned good. David Hafler sold them under his "Dynaco" brand name in the early 1960s (and their arm, as well). And the modern incarnations of the last series of MMC (moving iron) b&o cartridges still being built and sold by Peter Ledermann & his gang still are quite nice.
