Thanks. I was going to use empty toilet paper rolls and tape after seeing what I've got to deal with. And a funnel. Shot comes Monday, so I need to get to poopin'!

    Yep, a funnel helps too.

Couple of Pics.. pretty darn pleased with these.
Nice job, Ray - your setup's looking great. Very clean.
You'll have to post up sometime to let us know how the 703s and S60s compare.

Thank you Scott. I am pretty happy with it. I will at some point write a comparison between the 703s and 60s, I have been waiting for them to “break-in. So far very impressed with the low end and experimenting with placement.

I bought the TransDeco speaker stands for the 703s. For now, I am using the little rubber isolation pads for the placement of the speaker on the top plate, but later I might add some blue tack to secure it a little better. I would like to add further weight to the base, but preserve the wire management capabilities of the stand. Has anyone ever tried using polymeric sand to fill the posts. It should harden and dry out after a while. I was thinking of inserting a small diameter conduit (e.g. PVC pipe) that exits the top and bottom holes and pouring polymeric sand around it.

    Bad idea?
