Soundbar 5000 will not power on

Today there were no LEDs lit on my SB5000. and I cannot get it to power up. The power light is on the AC power adaptor, but nothing on the bar itself. I tried unplugging it for a while, switching the power switch, all to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions. Not sure what happened overnight....

    Basic tech support 101:
    Did you unplug it and plug it back in? :lol:

    I mean the power adapter, from the wall, for at least 30 seconds after the LED goes out?
    A voltage spike can set off the error latching curcuitry in those switching power supplies and only a full discharge will reset them.
    Also, is it on a surge protector?

    I am having the exact same problem with my IHT 5000. Was there ever any solution for this?
    I’ve tested the output of my power adapter to be 20V.
