Scansonic MB series

I'm curious to know if anyone here has any experience with the Scansonic MB series? I'm interested in getting my ears on a pair. The Rosso Fiesole kind of got me hooked at LSAF and am going to make a trip to Dallas before too long to give the Volterra's a listen, but, since I'm moving in to a price range of which I never dreamed I'd be for a pair of speakers, I want to give a few different speakers a good audition. Scansonic is one I'm curious about. I like a good ribbon tweeter when it's done well, and, word on the street is the Raidho ribbon is something special. The Scansonic MB line is supposed to carry a heavy dose of the Raidho DNA.

Have the 3.5's.......still breaking in.....a long break in period from what I have read..good thread here http://www.avsforum.com/forum/89-speakers/1799065-official-raidho-scansonic-thread.html

I LOVE em so far....listened to a lot of speakers before deciding on these...using a halo int to drive them since having them the highs have toned down a bit in a good way especially in the vocals and they will just get better and better..haven't used a sub since hooking them up and don't miss it at all....these have about 100 hours on them right now.... just put on a pair of Audioquest CV8s that I got a fantastic deal on from Tom....thanks Tom...well worth the effort to get your ears on a pair I liked them better than the Triton 1 and PSB T2 but then again that's with my old ears

I have a set of the original PSB image 7pt's that have been collecting dust in the corner for about 6 years. I almost went with a pair GoldenEar but decided against after a few auditions. They didn't seem to hold together when really driven, imo.

From the scant reviews I found on them, it's apparent they won't work for me. Everything I read stated these need a bit more space between each speaker than normal. Not sure I could get them to work in my setup. I don't need another speaker just setting around that I couldn't get properly set up like the Vandersteen's.

@kharp1 - I would highly recommend the ProAc Audio speakers. I heard them at Pro Musica AUdio Specialists & I was totally blown away. I heard the Response D40R and they were ridiculously good. Even the base model Tablette 10 monitor was impressive.
