different sounding cuts

Some months ago I told you guys I picked up a really pristine copy of the The Beatles White lp. I really didn't listen to it for a while and when I did I could swear that some of the tunes were arranged differently than the Apple pressed album. I might be wrong but this is not un heard of. So do any of you LP experts out there know of this. My White album has 30 songs on it. I do not have the Apple lp to compare it with. Again cool white lp w/ the PARLOPHONE label recorded at EMI the same studios that became Abbey Road.[....Lewimg]https://us.v-cdn.net/5021930/uploads/editor/vs/621ax73s66ms.jpg[/img]

It's been so long since I've actually heard the album that now I'm now all that sure. It's not the arrangement of song placement but the actual musical arrangements of some of the songs. Another possibility is that now I have a much better stereo than back in the day which was a Zenith suitcase drop down turn table thing where the speakers unhinged from the body and and did the stereo separation thing. I found this w/ tons of info on how it was recorded 1st in mono then in stereo but no mention of there being different takes from one lp to another.

I know it's the same site as yours but I was intrigued by all the info.
