So there is a guy local to me in Stl selling a pair of SDA -A1s for $300. Is this anyone on the group? Is that a pretty good deal.

    SDA 1A, most likely.

    Side-by-side tweeters: Less than optimum. $300 is high based on typical Polk resale prices. Probably a bargain based on sound quality--if you put some time, money, effort, and enthusiasm into them.
