LSi15 Sweet Spot

I think I found a new sweet spot for my LSi15's. I have them about 13' apart and sitting about 13' from them with a slight toe-in with about 5 deg off axis, sitting at ear level. Tonight I sat on the floor which resulted in about 5 deg below on-axis. So I was about 5 deg off axis horizontal and 5 deg below axis vertical and the sound stage was beautiful. Going 5 deg above axis did not seem to have the same impact.

Anyone else find this?

  • It's probably room acoustics. The reflected energy most likely changed when you moved. Do you have any acoustic panels or other treatments in your listening area?
