Ronnie Platt the new lead singer who used to be in Shooting Star sounds so much like Steve Walsh it's scary. at this point in time he does a better Job than Steve could of as Steves voice is a little rough. When is the show? Have a good time get the new Kansas album if you haven't already it's pretty good.

May try to make this in Arlington on Saturday. I'm not sure if I can do two concerts in two days. We have tickets to Tedeschi Trucks on Friday night so I will have to see how I feel the next day. :) It sure would make for a good weekend.

Tedeschi Truck is a excellent Concert. I had my Texas dates wrong as they are in Texas as of the 21st.

This Saturday I going to a local boxing match for our local Olympic Bronze medalist "Nico Hernandez" :)

And we will be going to a after party if he wins and get to meet and hang out hopefully with them/him as my Buddy and his Aunt are friends & family!

One of my all time favorites. Great musicianship (is that a word?) in this band. Their music is timeless. I must have listened to Leftoverture a thousand times, and it never gets old. "Song for America" and "Borne on wings of steel' are probably my favorites.

    I saw Kansas last night!

Was a excellent Concert  Ronnie Platt & Billy Greer did most of the singing and sound awesome on every song and sounded like the old Steve Walsh.

Great sound & energy last night! Glad I went.

Dust in the Wind at 100 db's quite a few times . Only at home though. Seeing and hearing them LIVE would be on my bucket list for sure.

You know you have a great stereo system if you get goose bumps listening to that song.

I remember being 12 and mom letting me sign up for the Columbia record club. Two For The Show was one of my choices and I wore that record out.

Going to see this week...so appreciate the review comments. Really looking forward to it!

For Kansas fans...if you haven't seen it, you should pursue finding the excellent thing they put together on their origins, Miracles Out Of Nowhere. Some excellent stories in there. I'll likely watch it again before going, just to get in the mood.

    Yup.
The Band that almost never was.
Great movie on how it all came to be for them.
    I believe in Miracles !
That band was created just so they could congeal to make "Dust in the Wind" just like Led Zeppelin congealed to make "Stairway to Heaven" for us all to hear.

Well , a lot of us anyway. ;)

I have seen Kansas three times. The first time was with John Elefante on vocals. I prefer Steve Walsh though. They always put on a great show. I would love to see them on this current tour. Leftoverture is a great classic album.

Here is one of the great stories out of the "Miracles Out Of Nowhere".

They literally created their own big break...with beer!

Saw them during their original Leftoverture tour back in the 70's. My 15yo boy loves them, so got him an early Christmas present at the Dec 2nd show here in Jacksonville.
