Hello, Anyone out there familiar with (or still using) vintage RM series HT? I came upon a setup with two satellites, center and sub for almost nothing. It appears to be from the RM5400(?) period. I was quite impressed with the response, and eventually added RT70I fronts and a CSI5 center. Seems to make a pretty sweet group. Anyone able to weigh in re. how these vintage subs (PSW50?) stack up to the newer ones in the same class? From the "vintage" section of the Polk site, it appears that they retailed in the $400 range msrp.

No specifics here, but in general Polk has gotten more serious about subs and starting around the time of the 404 took a couple big steps forward.

I'm sure someone with some first hand PSW50 experience will be along to comment...
