Nice score tonight, Monitor 7's excellent shape for $35.00. Two hours drive there, two back and I would do it again. Here they are sitting in my back seat. Keep those eyes open and you can still find some excellent deals on vintage Polk's !

Thanks Jay. How are things ? Hope you all are doing well. Good to hear from you. Yes, it was quite a trip for some 7's but I have always wanted to hear some. Never owned a pair or heard them. Lots of good comments about them so we will see.
I just noticed that I posted in "speakers" not "vintage speakers". I was on the phone and did not notice till now. Admin want to move the post ??

Saw the title and thought they were the ones from Elliot City MD... But those are much earlier models for only $20

Hi to you as well, Jim. Doing fine here.

I need more speakers like the proverbial hole in the head, but a clean pair of inexpensive 7's, local, would push me to action as well.

Selling away at speakers and equipment in general here. Got most of what I want now. All American equipment is what I have been trying for and so far I have that on the amps and speaker end anyway. Now for back up the chain of command for front end equipment. That will take me longer for sure. Something to look forward to.

    So did you get them?

No, I do sooooo want to. I looked all over the house and just have no place to put them. I'm not going to dump $100 on speakers for work either.

I could get the little Emotiva http://emotiva.com/product/a-100/and use them as PC speakers but then that is spending too much that I just don't have

If you can get LSi-7's for a hunny I'd dump something else. Those are pretty darn nice little speakers.
