If a movie has its soundtrack remastered for a 4K release it will likely sound better. However, the same soundtrack will also appear on the Blu Ray version that's in the package. Unforgiven was remastered when it was released recently. I don't think a stand alone Blu Ray version has been released. :

I would imagine the "Planet Earth" series (if available in 4k) would be awesome.

John Wick 2. Incredible sound! Outstanding LFE workout, without sounding bloated or boomy. Highly recommended.

Dunno about 4k sound, but I can say that my standard def. DVD of U471, (the depth charge scene) is awesome. I like to use this movie to show off my system. Even though it's lossy, it still sounds pretty darn good.
I recently picked up a Cambridge Audio Azur BD752 and couldn't be happier. It plays everything including DVD-A & SACD and doubles as a DAC for my cheapo, Aios media player w/2TB hard drive. It upsamples everything to 192k. I like the Rush, 2112 blu-ray for showing off br audio capabilities.
