Was doing some driving during the so called eclipse these traffic warnings were up everywhere to prevent idiot drivers like myself from taking pictures while driving what a bunch of hoopla didn't see nothing it was raining, we waited how many years for this? I was able to keep it on the road and no innocent travelers were injured while taking pictures of the sign.

    Where was this taken? Iowa?

Yep between Waterloo and Cedar Rapids, did you see them also?

Yep. I live in Des Moines, and they all read the same here. Figured only Iowa would put such a stupid message on their highway signs. :/

I wish. Our Cal Trans morons put 'Slippery when wet' when it rains, and on the freeways 'Watch for bicycles' on National Bike To Work day. I hate these freaking signs. They were supposed to be for abducted children, or some other significant event. Now they are used for everything, and people are starting to ignore them.

2024 I will have a front seat to the total eclipse here in central, OH. Got to make it to 73 as well. Keeping my viewing eyewear just in case.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

The best way to predict the future is to invent it.

this was the maximum coverage we got (within a few seconds, give or take) in northern NH. We get our turn in 2024, by the way :)

We had something like 97 or 98% coverage here in Atlanta. I went out with my coworkers and watched it for about 30 minutes. Pretty cool. Literally, the temp dropped by about 15-20 degrees. Wished I had driven a couple hours north to see totality. Next time I might actually go see it in Mazatlan.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...
