    For a while there was some discussion at Mapleshade to produce some of their more popular recordings on vinyl. I think people were encouraged to vote for their favorites. I tried, in vain, to get him to release master tape copies. He said the custom EQ he uses would cause problems with duplication. I've found the CDs at second hand record stores, especially around B-more.

    It might be of interest to know that Pierre is a recognized expert on military aircraft and was one of the designers of the A-10 (lovingly called the Warthog) along with Bob Dilger (who designed the Maplenoll turntables). Pierre has been a "talking head" on a few of the Discovery Channel programs. Alas Bob has had some legal problems.

    I think he likes simple, rugged & reliable when it comes to warfare hardware.
    I'm good with that. I think (high) technology & warfare is, ultimately, not a winning combination in most real-world scenarios.

    There's a reason all of those terrorists drive Toyota pickups! ;)

    I'd buy one but the current model is so expensive (even used) and so darned big. The hood is about at my eye level when I stand by the front end of one. I'd need a stepladder to check the oil.

    Our daughter & son-in-law have an early model Tundra. Nice truck, but not enough gumption to tow the Kubota :neutral:
