Right-Angle AC Wall Outlet Adapter Users?

Does anyone here use anything like this with their thick, hard to bend, high current power cords or with their hard to reach wall outlets? So far, this is the only one I have found for use with audio equipment:

It would be for an AVR or sub (high current use). Wasn't sure which category to put this. Thanks!

I've made cables with right angle plugs. I can't see that being a problem but that is pricey

Yeah, I was hoping for under $50.

I have a use for two. I've got a column attached to my tv stand that holds up my tv and blocks an AC outlet. I have to plug my AVR into my power conditioner because there is no way to plug a thick cord in behind that column. A couple peeps here recommended to me to plug my AVR directly into the wall for better results. And I've got a hard to get to outlet near my sub.
