    Not bad Altecs, but not great Altecs either.
    They do look to be in nice shape, though.

    One should be able to find a functional pair of A7s for a kilobuck if one is patient.

    Back in the 70's I had a friend that had A7's driven by a Macintosh tube amp in a rediculously small room. It was awesome.

    I underestimate(d) these. Probably 1000 worth of fun there -- empathetic amplification is key, though :)
