    For myself I would prefer the original black plates with the new handles. The red just doesn't do it for me.

    Maybe because way back in the mid 60s while mom was at work dad went f-nuts crazy and painted the shades & blinds red, Mom was not happy for several weeks at least. The place looked like the neighborhood brothel. :)

    I think the red gives them a nice center point, and pops out at you, I never cared for them being black and blending in with the rest of the speaker, a nice contrast if you will..

    She is doing pretty good, the drugs they have her on have her pretty out there right now especially the prednisone, but she needs to be on all of them for a while, there will be drugs she will be on forever but I will be glad when they tapper them down..

    There are days it's like living with an addict, those steroids take a toll on you..
