I have a set of these speakers. One day one of the two speaker lost much of sound. What I mean by that is the volume is extremely low compared to the other speaker. Balance on the receiver is the same. I switched the two speakers and the bad one is still very low in volume so it's not the receiver or wiring issue. Speaker cones doesn't look like they were blown or torn. Could you please provide some possibilities of what may be wrong with it? Someone may have turned the volume too loud causing this ?

Perhaps a blown tweeter? Carefully Unscrew the bad tweeter, and with the receiver connect the two terminals directly to the speaker wire. Turn on receiver and Slowly turn up the volume. If there is not sound, then that is your problem.
