Well, I got a free pair of Polk Nue Voe headphones with my Furman...
I did not expect too much form them, "free" stuff really does not impress me.
I let them break in while I was working for a couple of days and put them to the test this week.
I'm working a small remodeling project around the house and it has been the perfect test for the new headphones.
I have been running random equipment, hammering away and crawling around running a new electrical line for the project. The little Polk's have been AWESOME.
Ear protection while running this stuff should be important, and fun:
Great noise isolation and even better audio. I was going to throw these in a drawer behind my Sennheiser CX 890i's, Klipsch S4i's and R6i's. But that would have been a BIG mistake. The little Polk's push decent bottom end with a strong midrange. Better yet a top end that does not leave my ears bleeding...
I have worn these for an 8hr stretch and they really did not bother my ears at all and they stayed put better than ANY headphone I have ever owned.
All in all they sound awesome and fit perfectly. They seal up really nice, providing good isolation while not hurting your ears.
For free, they are flat out amazing, for the price they go for, they are a steal...

Nice review, but in-ears drive me nuts, can't stand them regardless of sound quality.Currently orbiting Bowie's Blackstar.!
