    oh boy could I ever have some fun with those. And you only live about 2hr 10min away from me (according to mapquest).

    What were the biggest differences between the 10a and the 10b?

    I own a pair of Monitor 10As. Russman and Tour2ma told me that that black tweeter with the small hole in the center is made by Peerless. I'm fairly sure the tweeter is one difference between the models.

    This speaker has a smooth top and very nice low bass. I was quite pleasantly surprised when I heard mine for the first time.

    Hard to find speakers that cost $150 that would sound better than those. Local pickup too... man do it if you can.
