you wont get too much more out of them, the c500 is what? 550 x 1 = 275 to each sub? so you wanna be in that 350-ish to 400 range... something like an MTX 801D, or any other 800 x 1 mono amp will do.

it will make a noticeable difference
how noticeable i cant really tell you
and if you think the difference is worth the money i cant tell you either
i would do it, but i amped 4x6 speakers...
another words, i try to squeeze every little bit of power that i can

I do not think ill regret spending more cash on an amp.... i live for my music and i want it to sound good.... i think the dynamat should help quite a bit as well.

    the damplifier i believe
email the owner, his name is Ant
you will not believe the quick and great customer service he gives you
tell him you were referred to him by the car audio forum
it might be a little bit of a lie but he gives you a huge discount
    or if you want
    www.caraudioforum.com
register there, he visits it regularly and his s/n there is secondskinrep
it IS better than dynamat, cheaper too

just did it, i also read if i do not have a dealer around me they offer discount? Dunno if i read it right.. but I'm confident there isn't a dealer within a 50 mile radius around me. Thanks i really appreciate all your help. I still have to buy a pack of dynamat or silencer crap to cover up a mess on my trunk lid.. I took sumthing off and it looks like it was bound with super 77.... so I couldn't get all the mystery crap off

after you get it installed tell me what ya think
the most important thing is prepping
this really is an entire weekend project
it says its not neccessary to use a heat gun, but i recommend it anyway
prepping is the most important thing though...make sure the metal is 100% clean of debris

    heat gun AND roller
    tennis ball=poor man's roller
    works great too
truthfully, id advise a tennis ball OVER the roller
gets into crevices better, you can press harder with it

k.... I've never used a heat gun... is it relatively simple? I have a few good friends who can help me, and my neighbor.... but what about this green stuff, its really thin and i think i can cut sum more off w/ a razor blade.

go to your local hardware store and pick up a scraper
not the cheap **** platic ones
the ones with the interchangeable metal blades, that should get it off
    heat gun...
plug it in, turn it on, point it at the damplifier...and voila

sounds good, deadening is one of the most tedious things to do, but the results are fantastic
youll def. be able to hear a difference, even if it is only the mids in your doors

86 lesabre = no mids in doors.... i know my car is old, but it doesn't have **** for miles and it runs good, the only rattle i get inside the car comes from around the 6.x9's in the back and my trunk.

if you're willing to up your budget up to about 500 bucks go to www.usamps.com and find a dealer near you, call around and find prices on the USA-600 it does 600w bridged to 2 ohms also go to www.speedsound.com and contact them for a price on that model, they carry the full line and are authorized dealers but they only have the 600x (the 4 ohm mono model) listed on the site, should be around 500 with shipping
