Mountain - Mountain Climbing! - If I listened to "Theme From An Imaginary Western" once back in 1970...I listened to it a 1,000 times ("For Yasgur's Farm" wasn't far behind). I wore out the grooves on that LP (side 1 for sure). The 8-track didn't fare to well either....

Road trip day (yesterday)...3 hrs Knoxville to Greenville SC. (then a 5+ hr f'ing meeting) 2 and 1/2 hour drive from Greenville SC to Johnson City TN. (two hour dinner) then another 2 hour drive from Johnson City back to Knoxville. It's a good thing I had plenty of tunes to crank up after the Greenville mtg cause I was soooooo pissed ( I hate consutants - consultants are guys who can't cut it in a real job so they convince someone stupider that them to pay them to "CONSULT"....but I digress...).

The lineup for the day: (in no particular order)

    Lynyrd Skynyrd - (Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd)
Blue Oyster Cult - Agent of Fortune
Caedmon's Call - In The Company of Angels
Jackson Browne - Lawyers In Love
Stevie Ray Vaughan - In Step
    Joan Osborne - Relish
Jimmy Buffett - Far Side Of The World

    It was a long day

Tour, "Lay It Down" is highly recommended. Great bass and kind of upbeat. Great mids. Overall a great album and probably my favorite from the CJ's.

Margo's voice is mesmirizing. This cd gets spun at least once a week at my homestead.:D

I love Gosh Groban's music. I have his first CD and got his "Closer" CD for Christmas. I've never been into operatic style / Italian singing before, but for some reason I'm mesmerized by his voice. I love even the Italian ones that I don't understand. I did go to one of his fan club websites and found English translations for the Italian / French / and Spanish songs.

I also have that CD. Went to see them in Concert and they were great. I noticed you have a few other Christian titles in your posts such as Caedmans (sp?) Call. My favorite Amy Grant CD from her Christian years was "Straight Ahead". I have it on vinyl and CD.

I'd have to say my favorite Christian Rock Russ Taff's: Medals, Russ Taff, Shake.

"Everything Must Go" and to balance the new with the old "Can't Buy a Thrill" and "Countdown to Ecstasy" with some "Two Against Nature" thrown in for good measure. I've been listening to these guys since about 1972 and still like 'em!

Check out Track 2 for starters, DEEP bass line, and lots of left-right movement. An SDA treat.
