Question about new speakers

I was just in the process of ordering the RT55's. The place I ordered them from told me that they have been discontinued and my order cancelled. Question is: Is there going to be a replacement for the RT55i? Perhaps the RTi58? Soon??
I will be buying them if they become available. I just can't wait though.

Oh, I understood that the web page showed no replacement for the RT55, but I was hoping that maybe it just wasn't introduced yet.
I really wanted the RT55's, but now that they aren't available, what should I do? The floor speakers are too big (the wife factor), and the RTi38, a bit small. Maybe I can convince her to let me do the RTi70?

The RT800i's (and it looks like the RTi70's) take up less floor space than the RT55i's with speaker stands.The floor speakers are too big (the wife factor)

as of yesterday, crutchfield had the 55i's (cherry) in stock at $400 a pair.
