Opportunity knocks on a Denon POA-1500 . Nice unit. Is it common ground? Anyone have any thoughts on this amp?
Thanks

Yes it is common ground. I have one and really like it. Do be prepared to replace the bulbs, (lights for the meters) or disconnect them if you so desire.
I have a pic somewhere of the insides I'll try to find. -
Thanks. I am torn between this and a Sonance 2120 (120 WPC) to run a pair of CRS+, using a Kenwood KA-7300 as a pre-amp. there is also a PRA 1000 available, but not sure I can afford both. Perhaps the Pra-1000 and the sonance??? So many decision. What are you using for a pre?

Here is a picture of the "Guts".
Having never heard or owned a Sonance, I can't comment on that piece.
At about 50 lbs the Denon it a beast. I think your SDA-CRS+ are 6 ohms, so the POA-1500 will push them with ease at 195 watts per channel RMS if I recall correctly. Enjoy G.:) -
Wow! too bad the transformer is so small.....
I have been trying to find some info on the PRA 1000. All of the specs on Denon I have seen are pretty impressive. I just sold a PMA-750 integrated. Very nice unit, but am looking for the right combo for the CRS+. I had a Sonance pass through here for a few days a while ago, and was quite impressed. -
I "might" be picking up a Denon POA-2400....is it common ground?--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out. -

I'd go with the Denon, much better build quality and bonus meters!
