Polk does all its magic in Mexico, or Baja California (which sounds far more exotic).

I actually saw those RM7600s coming off the line when I was last there. The cool wood cutting and wood folding machines and workers are highly skilled and very cool to watch. But you're right about the ramp up of new product... it can be pretty harrowing. We're doing okay, tho. The crew in the plant has a massive, on-going training program (they have to, the competition for workers there is intense, all the giant Japanese companies are there training Mexican workers to work like Japanese workers; it's like a Beneton ad), and the Mexican workers are now some of the most highly trained workers in the world. Plus, when you treat your employees right -- as we like to think we do -- they really do care about the stuff coming off the line. I saw it with my own eyes, otherwise I'd be too cynical to believe it.

Bottom line is, those RM7600s sound awesome, look totally cool, and are easy to set up and get cranking.

Heck, it's late. What am I still doing here? Newspaper's finished (last additions from Matt included), everyone else is gone... I'm going home and watching a movie on my own RM system!

Uh oh, who let Al on this thing?

(er... my Polk computer login still works... he just said good morning to me... he seemed to be in a good mood... Matt liked the newspaper... I'm still HERE... So he must've been KIDDING. That's it... I hope.)

Is Micah really fired? He is such a nice guy! Come on. Just give him a second chance. I am sure he will do a better job if Polk gives him a 25% raise.
