Can I send speakers per airplane ???

Hi,

I have an Polk Audio SRT system to send from Germany to France ... UPS say me : we don't transport speakers per airplane ... it's dangerous !!!

Is this right ? How Polk Audio send speaker to Europe ? with maritim way ??

Is there specials safty precautions to take for this sending ???

    I would contact Polk customer service, but I'm positive air freight is a no-no.

    That doesn't make sense. If you can order a pair from Crutchfield, for example, and have the overnighted from one side of the US to the other, what's the difference??

    Call FedEx, I personally refuse to deal with UPS ever since the strike.
