Some good deals in Indiana for some SDAs...

And before anyone says anything, I DO NOT have the right room for these or I'd consider some SDAs.

"Maybe" CRS+ would work but otherwise nope. Plus I've got those horns to build.

    1Cs for 300: http://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649353497-polk-sda1c-speakers/

    SRS 2 for 425: http://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649352599-polk-sda-srs-2/

    And some Ushers
CP 6381 for 1700 (think it's a bit high but color and location are good): http://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649278511-usher-audio-cp-6381/

The guy selling the SRS 2s says they typically sell for four times his asking price. Yea right.

The 1C's listed look like very early ones, they have a blade/blade cable and the backs look like they have blade/blade receptacles. There is also a large red note posted on the rear of one. These cannot be used with non-common ground amplifiers, hence no AI-1's or Dreadnought's.

The seller has dropped the price on the 1C's to $275 now.

And they are on eBay for 250.00. They are blade/blade and have the correct drivers for a 1c. But they are rough and no grills.

The SDA 1Cs in IN are down to 165 on CL....

I'm tempted but only as a fix, listen for a bit and flip for profit....

    Thoughts?

No grills kills the deal for me. If he still had the frames i would be more interested. I was in communication with the guy until i found them on ebay for less than he was asking on CL a few weeks back. Give them a look see Dan report back

I'm sure someone could get you the measurements to make your own. Just reach out to a CNC shop and they could make new frames for you.

The drivers alone are worth the asking price.I would think since they are the dual board version ( I think since it is blade/blade)they would be costly to fix and flip or did the early 1c's come in only studio version?
