lol, what happened to the foreground limiter? did you cut off the shield? IMO that too much color band....what car gets the TL projectors??

    looks pretty good!

I didn't cut the shield, but I made my own with a piece of sheetmetal and cut it to see what it'd look like.

The stock shield looks like this:

    TLRetrofit028Medium.jpg

(I messed around with my camera, which is why the light appears more yellow in these pics). I need to get a proper picture on a wall that isn't in my crappy basement

That explains why it looked strange for a TL, how is the output compared to stock shield?? even the stock shield has thin color band...did you swap the lens?

The output is almost the same, the foreground just becomes a little more visible. Yup, I replaced the stock lens with some zkw replicas.

Thanks. I'm not going to be using a shroud (at least I don't plan on it) because I don't want the projectors to be too noticeable. But if it doesn't end up fitting (b/c the projector might stick out of the back too much) I'll have to push them further in and use a shroud.

I got chased by this thing on Saturday afternoon at my project in Iowa. It took less than five minutes for it to reach the spot where I took the picture. The other pictures are 500lb electrical switches that got tossed off the top of the foundations.
