I have 2 Polk Audio speakers for sale, including speaker stands. I purchased them in 1982 and they are still in excellent condition. The serial number on the back is 5A136217. I can send a digital image if requested.

The speakers are roughly 30" tall by 8" wide, dark wood frame with a black front cover. If interested in more information, contact me at reimer@tm.net

    Hey James,
That's a pretty vague description as polk produced tons of models and variations of these different models. From the dimensions and age you might have RTA's or RTA8's, but I could be wrong. What is the serial number on the back of them? A picture without the grilles would make it much easier.

Also, it's best for you to post a price. Here on the forum we don't really bid against each other and the price is usually a bit less here than it would be on ebay. If your goal is to get the most cash out of them you'd probably be better off going to audiogon or ebay.

Good luck and welcome to the forum...

They need to moved to the Flea Market its where we sell things. Post a picture and price if you want to get any serious inquiries. Since you are unknown if you have any feedback from somewhere it may help.

I have several Federal Reserve Notes I will give you for them. They have been in my wallet for quite some time with no tears and/or tape and I'm sure they are still valid currency. I'm not sure of the denomination, but they are approximately 6 1/8" by 2 5/8", basically green and white in color (with pictures) and there are at least 10 of them. Let me know if this is acceptable.

Sorry guys. I know....don't run off the new guy....BUT...I just couldn't resist...

Not down in Vancouver... It's pissing rain up here and it's driving me nuts. Supposed to get around 55mm of rain today at about 10 degrees (2.15inches and 50 degrees in your fancy units ;) )

The only weather I care about is what's happening on the mountain. No snow = unhappy Michael.

I just might go check out some of it. That new speed skating oval being built in Richmond is right beside my work (I mean like across the street - walk 30 feet and you're there) ;) .
I may go see if I can stay with some friends we have up in whistler for a couple days. They have a very nice house on Green Lake, which is about 15 / 20 minutes from the village.

Talk about hijack this guys thread

Yep those are 5A's... I ruled those out when I read your description that said they were 30" tall. Aren't the 5A's more like 21-1/2"? I guess on the stands they're closer to 30.
