Hi all-
Posted awhile about trying to connect a second amp to the pre-outs on my Yamaha rx-v1.
The problem was: as soon as I pluged into the pre-out, it stopped the respective internal amp from working.
Solution
I bought some monster Y-connectors, and connected the pre-out to the pre-in, (essentially creating a loop) then ran a coaxial cable from the Y
up to the amp.
and ta da....wall of sound.
