Hey, Polkites,

Looking for some help identifying these SDA's- I've been away from SDA's long enough, I'm not sure- do these look like SDA-1's to you guys? With the tweeter mounting locations where they are, that's what I seem to remember.

They're available locally to me for $275- any thoughts among the SDA lovers? Any help is greatly appreciated.....

    Yep, those look like 1s...

and it looks like those sold for $450, so $275 sounds good to me...

Yup, original SDA 1's in Oak no less (not seen as often as the walnut)...

$245 is a good price. I've only seen one pair below $300 and most are in the 400's...

    Bag 'em...
    More later,

Asking the experts, Russman :)......I think I gonna get me some SDA going on here for the first time since Xmas 1987 when my original ones were stolen............. these don't look too bad from the pics, and yeah the oak is a way different look than I remember that walnut. The guy says in his ad that one mid needs replacing; dunno about all that, but he also sez $275 OBO, so I'm gonna OBO him and see what happens............

Arright- these are in my car waiting on quitting time to take them home. Seller was a BS moron- "these are as good as Bose 901's, blah blah blah". But 2 bills waved under his nose and I drove away with them. One is missing a mid, after all, as the ad said- so my dumb question after looking at the Polk parts list is they show MW6501's for the mids. Is there an appreciable (or any) difference between 6501's and 6502's? I have a couple 6502's available- I could use one of them tonight if they are.

    Thanx for the help, folks.

I don't know if the difference is appreciable but the 6502s went in the smaller cabinets (monitor 7 and smaller) and the 6501s were in the larger speakers.
