crs+ wattage

Can the CRS+ handle a 200 watt /ch at 8 ohms yamaha power amp? tks for any input.

    As long as the amps are not driven to full power and the amps produce clean, undistorted power, you won't have any problems.

    I have used a Yamaha MX-1 (200 wpc @ 8 ohms), a Yamaha MX-1000U (260 wpc @ 8 ohms), and an Adcom GFA-5500 (200 wpc @ 8 ohms) with my CRS+'s.

    They are rated for 10-200 wpc.

    They work very well at 375 watts per channel driven fairly hard.

    Similar to the others....

    Mine work well with 250watts. Even when pushing them a bit. They rather like it!
