speaker not on list from time to time

Every once in a while the speaker disappears off the found speakers list. The only way I can get it found again is to unplug it and let the battery run down. Then when I plug it back in it is found and usable again. Is there something I can do to stop this from happening or at least reset it. It takes overnight for the battery to run down enough for the speaker to be re-found so no music for me while that is happening :(
