Was browsing the Fry's website this morning. They are now selling SVS. Some items are in store and at the same cost of the SVS web store.

Wonder if this will be a good thing or bad thing.
When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.

    As long as the prices don’t change I think its a good thing for SVS and frys. Even given their rep, lots of folks would still like to demo that level of purchase. For the average dude $500 is lot of coin for a sub imho...

    Agree it would be nice to demo one before you buy. I do wonder if down the road Fry's will have them on the weekly promo code. Example is this week a Denon AVRX4400H is promo code for $848.

    I also wonder how other subs are going to sell. once someone get their ears on an SVS then other sub sales will suffer.
