With my baby boy coming in a couple of months I needed another seat to haul the four kids around. Really just an excuse to buy a new toy as I know there are much better options for people hauling.

I was disappointed I couldn’t get any TRD version with a 3rd row. Not like I need it though.

    Nice ride that 4runner is.
2 channel: Anthem 225 Integrated amp; Parasound Ztuner; TechnicsTT SL1350; Vincent PHO-8 phono pre; Marantz CD6005 spinner; Polk SDA2BTL's; LAT International speaker cables, ZU Mission IC's and power cables all into a PS Audio Dectet Power center.

Other; M10 series II, M7C's, Hafler XL600 amp, RB-980BX, Parasound HCA-1500 amp , P5 preamp, all in storage. All vintage Polk have had crossover rebuilds and tweeter upgrades.

The 4Runner was on my short list but I needed something that could safely pull more than 5000lbs
That said, if I had not needed the towing capacity, we would have ended up with the Yota.

    Nice new ride!

Well I hope it works out. I like the simplicity, feels like 1999, but weird to have paid more for old tech. For the premium it’s pretty basic and the gas mileage sucks. But I didn’t want a full size suv (expensive) or a front wheel drive unibody suv. At $40k or less it was either this or a full size.

Yeah 5000lbs is pretty decent for a mid size SUV. I still have the 2016 Colorado for towing and truck stuff. I think it’ll tow 7500lbs. Unless I get a boat at some point I doubt I’ll need to haul anything near that anyway.
