The PSW 505 was made by Polk many years ago and listed for over $500, so a real retail price for it would have been in the high $400 range at that time. It was discontinued a good while ago and is listed as such by Polk. So my question is: Who is making them? I bought two about 5 years ago for $170 and $200 as I recall and I still see them for sale on Amazon, New Egg, etc in this price range now.
I believe the user manual I have says the amplifier is class G, but I have seen postings on line in which people claim they have different amplifiers in theirs. One guy said a Bash class D was in the one he got.

I looked on the Polk website, nothing turns up for the search “PSW 505”. I cant find any indication other than it not being on the website that it’s discontinued. If it is, I have no idea who’s making them, it could be refurbished units?
