Tonight I raise my glass for all the Moms...

If your mom is still here let her know just how much she is loved, and how significant she has been to your life. If you haven’t spoken for whatever reason, let it pass as water under a bridge to the sea, for moms are a once in a lifetime gift. Treasure the good and forget the rest.

If she has passed, just close your eyes and remember her hugs and mending that scraped knee, and she will whisper to you that you are always loved by her. Though she is gone from the world we see, she is there beside you if you listen.

It has been almost a year now that my mom passed, and still she speaks to me in the most curious of ways. Tonight I raise a glass in her honor to thank her for all she has done to make me the man, husband and father I am today.

A toast then to all the moms, wherever they may be, with gratitude for all you given, with the deepest thanks for all you sacrificed, and with all the love our hearts can hold....

Happy Mother’s Day, and know you are forever loved.

Miss you Mom! It was amazing how much love a little 95 lb woman could have.

Without Moms, we all wouldn't be here! ;)

    Thanks, MOM! <3
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

I was extremely lucky to have the Mother that I did. I wish I had realized what she sacrificed for us when I was still young. I don't think you know what parents give up for their children until you are a parent yourself.

Lost Mom & Dad last year, 2 weeks apart. They sacrificed a lot for us, yet they still managed to leave an inheritance for all 5 of us. We ALL wished they would have enjoyed that money themselves--but we also GREATLY appreciate the gift.

Love you Mom. I can hardly remember a time that you ever bought yourself, anything.

On another note, I took the Mrs. to a local fancy mall today and bought her a new purse and a couple of outfits. We also did lunch at a fancy little cafe, and once again checked the box for Mother's Day!

I hope all of you other Polkies did similar! Not too late!

Just got off FaceTime with my Mom. So lucky to have her still here. Was honored to have her and Dad join us on vacation a few weeks ago. Will really miss her when she's gone.
